The Jerome Grand Hotel in Arizona:

The Jerome Grand Hotel, the only National Historic Landmark Hotel in the entire Verde Valley, is offering a Room and Ride Package which includes one night's lodging and a trip on the Verde Canyon Railroad Wilderness Train. Room and Ride Package.

Bed and Breakfast:

The Jerome Grand Hotel offers the quaintness of a Bed and Breakfast but with the privacy and services of a Hotel. Our lobby is open and staffed 24 hours so you may come and go at your convenience. The gift shop is open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is located in the Hotel Lobby.

 

 

The Award Winning Asylum Restaurant is located one floor above the Lobby level and offers Lunch and Dinner every day. Town of Jerome, Arizona:

Once a mining town of 15,000, Jerome now has approximately 550 full time residents. Tourism is Jerome's major support and over 300,000 visit this mountainside town annually, located on the historic Highway 89A. Jerome, Arizona Attractions: includes areas nearby.

National Historic Landmark:

In 1967, the town of Jerome was declared a National Historic Landmark with the Jerome Grand Hotel as the largest structure. Many of the buildings have been preserved and restored and are now providing the many services needed for the tourist trade.

Ghost Town:

With the official closing of the last mine in 1953, Jerome's population dwindled down to between 50 and 100 residents. Jerome was listed as America's largest ghost city during the late 1950's. History of Jerome and the area: The town of Jerome; a past preserved.

Jerome State Park:

Once the home of the Douglas family, the mansion is now used as a museum with many photographs and displays depicting the history on mining in the area.

Sedona, Prescott, Cottonwood, Phoenix, Verde Valley:
